My boyfriend and I visited Sunnyside Diner about a month ago, and we still talk about how delicious the food was! We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Sunnyside Burger, both of which were really good. The pizza had a great crust and fresh ingredients, and the burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. The egg on the burger made it even better. Our server/waiter, Samer, was awesome and the highlight of our visit. He was very sociable and welcoming, which made for one of the best restaurant experiences we've had. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area! 10/10, highly recommend :

I’m from lawrence so I’ve been to sunnyside a handful of times. Their breakfast has always been good when you’re looking for a classic diner breakfast. Lately I heard they were under new management and had added lunch and dinner to their hours as well. It was about 12pm and we decided we wanted both breakfast and lunch options. We went to sunnyside. My mini ordered chicken and waffles and I ordered fish and chips. Can I just say YUM YUM!! As you can see, the fish was a HUGE portion. Came out hot, crispy fries. It was quite a nice surprise. We had an amazing experience with Sunny Side. We ordered four pizzas for our staff. Meat Lovers, Veggie, Prosciutto, and Margherita and every single one was absolutely delicious. The flavor was outstanding, the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you can truly tell they take pride in their food. Feelings of the '50's nostalgia and an extremely welcoming place. I went with the Bianco pizza full of fresh herbs and dairy. This was my first visit but I'll be back again. The chef, George, stopped by my table to ask how everything was and brought me a sample of their armousheh with hummus to try out. It was something I'd seen on the menu and asked about.
