Edgar Saliana★★★★★No frills place that serves good food! No bathroom though. Bought the: Fried chicken bolo bao & lava egg yolk French toast. Chicken was tender & juicy but still crispy on the outside. It was decently good by itself but with the sauce and cold slaw paired with it, it tasted amazing. Bolo bao itself wasn’t anything special. Filling enough for one small person and not too heavy on the stomach. The lava egg yolk French toast was surprisingly very good. I’m not a fan of salted egg yolk but this wasn’t too salty. The balance between the salty egg yolk and the sweetness of the French toast was perfec
Ajith Vasudevan★★★★★If you’ve been to Hong Kong and enjoyed the food you got there then this little gen tucked away in Quincy is a must-go for their authentic flavours We’ve been here a few times and every time the food has been great. The beef curry deserves its own fan base. Bolo baos balance sweet and savoury brilliantly. The baos are truly authentic and delicious. The French toasts are great - maybe overly sweet but hey - that’s how they do it in HK The tea - both hot and cold were also flavoursome. Cheung fun’s are also great - fish ballls and brisket in particular The conjee is good if you like it and if y
Aimee Fried-Hardy★★★★★We love Laurence from top chef so we had to give his cafe a shot. We absolutely loved it! Laurence and his staff clearly put a lot of love into each dish on the menu. Any of the bolos are great, but our favorite was the spicy chicken one (sour cream and onion sauce! and the chicken was perfectly crisp and also juicy) - and you can't go wrong with HK style French toast. My favorite was the curry fish ball rice rolls, which were super flavorful. I loved the food so much that if I lived in the area I would be here all the time.
Benjamin Steinlauf★★★★★Been watching Chef Laurence crush it on Top Chef so had to check out Rubato and the food is incredible. He was there today serving up his Cantonese steamed fish and the guest judge from Top Chef was right: it was bussin! We were too shy to say what’s up to Chef Laurence but we will definitely be back
