Great Irish pub scene. The servers were excellent and the place was clean. The ac was very nice to feel on a hot day too. Its right on the water and there's a decent amount of patio seating. My tuna salad sandwich was delicious. The fries were seasoned with dried oregano and parsley. I just wish they were warm when they came out. The slaw was fresh and crunchy. TVs all over showing world cup while a gentleman played an acoustic guitar for a really cool vibe! I'll definitely be back.

A great spot on the River Walk for a refreshing drink and a fun atmosphere. Their famous frozen Irish coffee with Baileys is absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The service was very good, and the overall vibe of the place makes it a perfect stop to relax and enjoy the area.

Walking around the riverwalk we were hungry for dinner and found Waxy O’Connor Irish Pub on the riverwalk. With seating both inside and outside we choose to people watch and sit outside. Outside has the advantage of the riverwalk view as well. The fish and chips and chicken curry were just great. Funny to be eating curry in San Antonio but it is what it is. When it’s good food - gotta eat it.

Stopped here twice. First time for a couple drinks while sitting outside. The drinks were perfect and service was great. Second stop, we sat inside with a different server. Service was bare minimum at best. The food looks a lot better than it tastes. Fries were raw on inside. There was a performer named mark that should learn a few Celtic songs if going to play in an Irish pub. With his style,none of the patrons were getting in a fun mood. Also as a suggestion, get a mobile payment machine. In the year 2026, it feels strange to have someone take your card and go tap a payment out of sight from
