I had the Pot Roast with a green salad and seasonal vegetables(carrots & broccoli). Except for the carrots & broccoli, everything was great. *The carrots & broccoli were extremely undercooked.. barely warm, crunchy when attempted to eat. The Pot Roast was cooked to perfection & finished everything up with a scoop of delicious Huckleberry ice cream. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended… except for uncooked vegetables:).

Brooklyn provided outstanding service! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. She had such a positive attitude and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Our food came out quickly, our drinks stayed full, and she checked on us just the right amount. She truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. If you’re visiting Black Bear Diner, definitely ask for Brooklyn- you won’t be disappointed!

Went their with family from out of state. What a disappointment. I got the 4 piece fried chicken dinner. It was over cooked and very dry almost as if they just air fried leftovers from yesterday. The service was good and the atmosphere as well, but the twice fried chicken was a major issue. My wife got the pot roast dinner and said it was super salty. Not at all like the pot roast she has had there in the past.. we like the restaurant and we know you can do better blackbear. Good service and a nice atmosphere will not continue to bring in customers if the food continues to slide downhill.

The Restaurant was clean, and quieter atmosphere than I expected. It was very easy to hear the others in my sinner group. Most of their entrees are served in very large portions, aside from the macaroni. That's tiny. They do not skimp on the quality either. Their salads are outstanding, with fresh ingredients. The ranch dressing is made in house, and it's phenomenal. The food tastes like it's home made and gourmet at the same time. The servers were friendly, patient, and responsive.
