I stopped by Chicken & Whiskey on 14th Street today to pick up a lunch order to go. I ordered ahead through the Toast Local app and got two Borracho Chicken wraps and two chicken empanadas. The restaurant was fairly busy when I arrived, but my order was ready on time and easy to grab. The food tasted great and held up well for takeout. Parking in the area was difficult, both on 14th Street and the nearby side streets. This is a review about the atmosphere along with the workers. I went out with my girlfriends on a Thursday night & a man walked up to us saying “my friend is racist, & I think if one of you guys walk up and talk to him it will do him service” now… I will not shame the bar on admission as it is rightfully so open to everybody, but I was very clear to the bartender about that is going on and they did not seem to have any care. The chicken here is soooo juicy and DELICIOUS!! I came here TWICE on my trip! We ordered a whole chicken for 3 people and we love the rice and plantain sides! They have a really cool bar in the back that I really wanted to check out but I have a baby haha so we took a little peek before people started pouring in. I LOVE the Halloween theme! I love that they have outdoor seating too!
