Nice coffee shop I used to frequent a lot but only visit on occasion now. Writing this review so others know what to expect and perhaps in hopes it spurs some small changes. The staff are lovely, the little patio so nice to have, and the dog treats and outdoor ordering window great. Indoor space is also cute, though I haven't used it much. On the flip side... Pastries are meh; no idea where they're actually from, but they don't taste homemade. Coffee/lattes/chai are average and similar to what you'd get at many DC coffee shops - perfectly fine, but could be improved with homemade syrups. Love

This venue is pretty cool. Great lighting and outdoor seating. This venue also has art for sale as well as some books. The service during my visit here was good. My hot tea was good but the iced matcha needs work. I feel as though the quality of the matcha is the baking kind and not the ceremonial grade. The baked goods were really good though. The banana bread and the blueberry muffin were fantastic.

Stopped by on my way out of DC this morning. The coffee (I got a latte) is good, but the pastries are average. It seems like a bright space to come and do some work or to read - lots of art on the walls and books available.
