Ramon Eatz★★★★Oh my, what a massive amount of fries my coworker ordered. With an egg on top. I had the Tuesday Tri Tip special and it was pretty good. The home cooking at this place is where its at. The mac n cheese has that Kraft taste. Dirty rice was very good mixed with the mac n cheese. Very friendly service and definitely has that local hometown feel to it. Big cups of water!!!
Will★★★★★I came to try the beef ribs and they were not the big T-Rex rib but you could order them in three packs or five packs for a Wednesday night special. The other places around didnt have any and the place with a T-Rex rib downtown only offers them on Saturdays so this is a good in between. They put more than just salt and pepper on them and they are not fall off the bone but they are still tender which is the way I like it anyway. I'd say they're pretty good.
Michael Sherman★★★★A popular eatery offering award winning ribs with meat that easily tugs away from the bone, and excellent side dishes. Consistently delivers great product at good prices. Corn bread is slightly sweet with the right amount of moisture, while dirty rice included flavorful sausage and seasonings. Cole slaw compliments all of those. The atmosphere is more like a diner, which is a fair trade for really good ribs and it isn't noisy. Don't be put-off if there's a 10-15min wait to get in, as they do a good job handling a lot of rib fans, and people are typically seated in less time than they estimate.
jon davison★Been here quite a few times and it's usually pretty good.However, I ordered a pound of pulled pork and a pound of brisket to bring home.The pork was fine but the brisket was completely inedible. It was way overcooked full of gristle and fat cut way too thick and the bark was hard as a rock.I had to throw the whole thing away. You absolutely couldn't chew it, it was like rubber and plastic. The cooks should do quality control before they send things out the door out to a table.I will ask to see the contents of the things I ordered before walking out the door next time if there is a next time.Wh
