We visited Phoenix for spring break and our local friend recommended Old Town Taste. Totally worth the drive. We came with kids (ages 3–10) and they all enjoyed the food. The shrimp noodles, orange chicken, and dry fried string beans were a hit. The iPad menu with pictures made ordering easy, and the staff were very helpful. We loved the mapo tofu and Chongqing chicken. They are authentic, spicy, and numbing in the best way. Great food, family-friendly, and easy to order. Would come back.

Authentic and fantastic. The fried noodles with chicken immediately brought me back to San Francisco’s Chinatown—same depth of flavor, same balance, no shortcuts. Ordering through the tablet made everything efficient, and the food arrived quickly. Everything tasted genuinely authentic, not adapted or watered down. The space is large, open, and very clean, which makes the experience comfortable rather than cramped. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, and service stayed consistent throughout.
