Got a tropical pack today and the chicken piece smelled off and the chicken tasted a bit weird. Have since spent time vomiting. My daughter told me that last time she got just chips there, she felt unwell after, then my son chimed in saying he won't go back. Last time he got food there he got sick. Was lovely fresh food with previous owners. Not anymore. If you're noticing a big drop in customers, that's probably why. I've certainly noticed alot less customers.

Tried the new Red Rooster fried chicken Very nice. I went back for lunch next day and ordered their Red Box combi meal which came with fried chicken burger, 1 piece of fried chicken, chips, potato and gravy and a can of drink. All great quality. It had been years since I ate Red Rooster. I will be back. I do like their new fried chicken. I was staying at Best Western Motor Inn which is just 2 minutes walk away

Spent around $90 at Red Rooster Bourbong St Bundaberg around 7:30pm. All chips and crunchy potatoes had a strong bacon smell. Raised it politely with the manager, who denied there was any issue, refused a refund or replacement, and showed no concern. Very disappointing service and food handling.

Red rooster does NOT disappoint, they have good service, spectacular food, cooked to perfection 👌, also. Food comes quicker and they have really good deals if on a budget for your family or a small meal for your children 🥹👊
