I usually don’t leave anything other than great reviews but I thought owner should see this. If I rated based strictly on service the stars would be lower but, to be fair, this was the best food we had in Colmar so I can’t be too harsh. I had an excellent steak frites and my wifes tartiflette was also excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly and prices were fair. Service though was an issue. To be fair, the young lady waiting on guests needs help - I’ve waited tables in my youth and it’s impossible to give decent service to ten or so groups while running food, bussing tables, taking orders,

omg I love this place! It was busy lunch time, but there is second floor in the restaurant, so we were able to have a nice table for 4. The local dishes are ready delicious and very tasty. Highly recommend the Assiette marcaire and the Jarret sur choucroute!!! They’re so good for meat lovers!! The grandpa is very kind and amiable. What’s more, the decoration of Christmas are sweet and the warm, which creates a great atmosphere. We really had a nice experience having lunch there.

The Eisbein was good, the sauce especially. The Rösti was a bit salty, but very filling and the portion generous. In general the quality of the food was very good though. We expected to pay a bit less here which probably came down to the wine, which is quite expensive for a glass.

Off the tourist path. Great local food offerings. Offerings being brought out were very consistent and great Looking. Enjoyed the local interior. The restaurant was packed. Everyone was really enjoying themselves. Service was steady as they worked thru the rush.
