As first time visitors there are several places for dinner but we found Le Petite Chef to be away from the maddening crowds. We were severed by a young gentleman who made ever attempt to help us as we spoke zero French - thank you. The food was from a blackboard menu and had enough for everyone’s taste and meal size is very good. Good selection of drinks as well. The best part - no crowds and loud music- well done.

Nice modern style restaurant right on the town square. The place was clean and fresh and the staff professional and helpful. The menu was short (a good thing) with just three starters, three mains and a few desserts. Always best to focus on a few things and do them well, I think. The food was good (but not outstanding) and the prices were fair. I'd probably give 4.5 stars if Google would let me, but I reserve 5* for truly outstanding. A good bet if you find yourself in St. Quentin and want a relaxed good value meal out.

For a mid range restaurant, this is a gem. Fantastic meat served with homemade fantasic fries. Absolutely great food. And the service was really good with great attention to the details. We really enjoyed being here and will come back again.

Great find for our brief stop at Saint Quentin. Well made food at a great price. Frites were really well made. Steak, veal and beef tongue was well cooked and super tasty. Definitely be back again if we pass by.
