The Sauerbraten I ordered was tender, fresh and served hot paired with Diesel (Feldschlößchen beer mixed with cola). The ambiance was a classical and elegant vibe that you can appreciate after seeing the other gems of Dresden. Cash and cards are accepted (but tips are cash only).

It’s very similar to Slavic syriniki but I actually liked this better as it’s a bit more dense and fried. Pair this traditional classic dessert with some hot tea / coffee and we left feeling refreshed and warm. Recommend this cafe as they feature full dining menu and also typical desserts and drinks. Also, the space is designed with all antiques in which one can actually purchase. Hence the name of the cafe.
