Ihar Beliauski★★★★★We chose two different set menus, and every dish felt like a masterpiece - rich, flavourful, and presented with an elegance that truly made us feel like royalty. A special part of our lunch was the mini tour of the restaurant given by Samridh. He shared fascinating stories and insights about Jamavar’s heritage and culinary philosophy, making the entire experience even more meaningful and memorable. His passion brought the place to life in a beautiful way. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Abishek for his exceptional service. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made our dining experience even smoother and more enjoyable. Jamavar is not just a restaurant - it’s an experience of tradition, luxury, and culinary artistry. A visit here is an absolute must.
GYOUZA DAISUKI★★★★うわぁ! The food here really surprised me, in very good way. The flavors are deep and rich but not heavy, so I can keep eating more and more. Service is polite, sometimes a bit slow when restaurant gets busy, but they try their best. The interior feels luxurious but comfortable, which I appreciate. Some dishes were absolutely amazing while others felt just okay, but overall the experience was quite memorable. I think this place is great for special dinners and anyone who wants to try refined Indian cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. おいしい!と思う瞬間多かったです。
Mohammad Sarosh★★Extremely disappointing experience at Jamavar about 3 weeks ago at lunch which was very unexpected since I've been here multiple times before and never had a bad time. We took the Maharani set menu and the staff took way too long between courses. At one point they made us wait 40 mins between the first and second course. The restaurant was at capacity but they were definitely not understaffed. When we asked for second servings, that took ages to come as well. All this wait didn't even allow us to enjoy the food properly. In the end one of the head staff came to apologize and ask if we needed anything else. We asked them for a second serving of a dessert, but then they straight up forgot about it and one of the other waiters got us the bill. I was done with this place at this point. Coming to the food, the prawns, chicken, and mutton starters were good. The rest were okayish and the desserts were uninspiring. I'd prefer a Royal Afghan or a Kebabs and Curries over Jamavar now.
gopi chand★★★★★Had an amazing experience at Jamavar’s luxurious buffet in The Leela Palace, Bangalore. The ambience is stunning and gives a royal, luxurious feel as soon as you enter. The food was delicious with great variety, and the service was very warm and attentive. We had gone to celebrate a friend’s birthday and they surprised us by arranging a cake and offering complimentary mocktails, which made the evening even more special. Truly a memorable 5-star experience! The must try food was pathar ka ghosh and biryani
Nithin8Ankitha★★★★Must visit, fantastic ambience, great place for office team dinner outing. Lot of greenary, quiet, nice lighting.
Jo★★★★★We came in with high expectations since the place was quite raved and boy, colour us impressed! Service was top notch, words can’t describe how great the meal was. My photos will not do much justice, I got too busy eating. We tried 3 different set menus, Maharaja, Maharani, Yuvraj. Flavours that dance, spices that sing — the best Indian meal my family and I have ever had. A true feast for the senses. Slightly pricey but worth every last cent. What started out completely refined… all ended in major food coma. It was indeed a masterclass in spices, texture and regret for wearing jeans to the dinner. 10/10 will be back and resist proposing to the chef
Pramod Kulkarni★★★★★**A Royal Feast Fit for a Maharaja: 10/10 Experience at Jamavar, The Leela Palace Bengaluru** Dining at Jamavar in The Leela Palace Bengaluru is nothing short of stepping into a bygone era of opulence and grandeur. From the moment you enter, the ambiance envelops you in luxury—intricate gold leaf paintings, rich Jamavar shawls draping the walls, hand-carved screens, and silver table settings that gleam under soft lighting, all complemented by vibrant floral urlis. It's a setting that truly embodies "Atithi Devo Bhava," making you feel like royalty. But the true star of the evening was the **Signature Maharaja Vegetarian Menu**—a masterful thali-style tasting journey that celebrates the finest vegetarian treasures from across India's royal kitchens. This isn't just a meal; it's a symphony of flavors, textures, and aromas executed with unparalleled finesse. The experience began with refreshing appetizers: a spiced buttermilk to cleanse the palate, followed by delicate crispy betel and
Matthew★★★★★We ate till our hearts content at Jamavar. Located on the lower floor of Leelas Palace, we came here for a nice lunch and the food and service was outstanding. We ordered crab which came all peeled for us and minced in a gigantic bowl. I can easily say that there were more than a couple of crabs within that one bowl. I'm a huge seafood person and loved each spoonful of the dish, and it was so much that my wife and I ate till our hearts content. We also ordered fish and chicken dishes and ended it with dessert and tea. Each dish was spectacular and amazingly done and we did not have a single complaint about anything. The service staff were excellent and were extremely attentive to any need or want. To top it off, it's a beautiful restaurant that captured the Indian designs extremely well and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
