Ce qu'en disent les gens

Great food and good ambience. I particularly like the potato rosti which something unique here. The nasi lemak rice is fragrant and the sambal is nice, not overly spicy. Mushroom soup is great too. However, service could be better. Overall, good food here and would come again.

Found a hidden gem in SS2 — Cafe Bandit. 🦝☕✨ Welcomed by the cutest little raccoon mascot, this place instantly stole our hearts. The food selection is surprisingly extensive, the dishes arrived super fast, the coffee was smooth and satisfying, and the service was genuinely amazing. A cozy spot with good vibes, good people, and great coffee. Definitely one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to… or maybe keep as your little secret. 🤎 #CafeBandit #SS2Cafe #HiddenGem #CafeHopping #CoffeeDate #PetalingJayaCafe #KLCafe #CoffeeLover #FoodieFinds #SupportLocalCafe

Based on the charming raccoon theme and the promise of a wonderful brunch, my visit to this cafe absolutely lived up to expectations. The ambiance is lovely—clean, calm, and thoughtfully decorated, with a gentle hum of conversation that creates a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a working-day escape. We started with drinks, and the Palm Ginger Tea was a standout. It was wonderfully aromatic and soothing, making it an ideal companion for a rainy morning. The latte was also well-made, providing a solid caffeine fix. For food, the Bandit Breakfast was a hearty plate, generously loaded with salad, sausage, chicken ham (you can opt for bacon), a plentiful serving of mushrooms, two perfectly sunnyside-up eggs, and a crispy hash brown. The Mushroom Baked Eggs were another delight, served hot and delicious with bread, though I felt the bread could have been toasted a bit more for the perfect texture. A major plus is the portion size; the dishes are substantial and the kitchen is ge

Butter Bread Pudding & Ice Cream: Icecream texture is more like cream. Not sweet, good combination with sweet butterbread. Almond Choc Croissant: flaky croissant. Crunchy thin almond. Good choc ratio. Still crunchy when I ate it cold. Recommended. Lemonade: refreshing. Okay. Houjicha: a lil bit of too much milk. But okay sedap je. Note: they have a lot of power socket for laptop charging. Can do work here. Overall: Will come again to try another menu, but not anytime soon. But definitely will crave for almond choc croissant.

Hungry Potato★★★

The place looks aesthetic and it was quiet when we reached. We ordered Potato Rosti with eggs & bacon, some chilli soft shell crab with toast, matcha latte (hot) and peppermint tea. The food looks good but I didn’t enjoy the rosti (may be due to preference) I felt that the rosti is more of potato flour instead of julienne cuts of potato. The soft shell crab was also covered in heavy batter. Drinks were normal.

The egg tarts feature a buttery cookie crust rather than the traditional flaky style. The thinness of the base allowed a generous amount of custard, which was soft and more of an egg-forward flavor custard and a bit sweet for my preference. As for the apple strudel, the pastry lacked the expected crispness, and I found the cream a bit too sweet for my personal taste. A bit more crunch and a more balanced sweetness would make it perfect. I was a bit surprised by the Black Sesame Latte here. Unlike versions I’ve had elsewhere that include espresso, this one seems to be a caffeine-free milk drink. It would be helpful if the menu specified this, as it lacked any coffee flavor. Additionally, although I ordered it hot, it was served cold, it felt like the milk hadn't been steamed at all. I love the concept, but the execution and temperature definitely need more consistency. On the day of our visit, the cafe was filled with loud voices.

The restaurant is located at Chow Yang area surrounded by many food joints serving mainly local food. We came here for our brunch and ordered long blacks, rosti breakfast set and spiced prawns and otak otak capellini . The prawn and Otak Otak capellini stood out for me . It is unique in taste and provides a refreshing combination of Italian food with local Malaysian taste . The breakfast set is normal but ok. The coffee is good

Nice, cosy, cafe. Pricing is market cafe rate. Came with my mum and we tried the mushroom baked eggs, the chicken karaage rice bowl, peppermint mocha, and the pavlova. Everything was pleasant and tasted good, except for the mushroom baked eggs which I found a bit salty (especially once the bread was finished). Service was decent and met expectations. There are some cafes you go to where the waiter/ waitresses are a bit more proactive, but here might not be the case. For example, we asked for dessert and there were two of us. An outstanding service will be a waitress bringing cutleries according to the number of people on the table or at least 2 for sharing. Basic service will be the one we received: 1 fork 🤣. All in all, this is my second time back and will still consider returning again for the food and vibes. 🙂
