Came here for lunch after class for an entire week and somehow never got tired of it. Tried almost everything on the menu (hummus, falafel, mixed salad, spiced meat, potatoes, spring roll, rice...) Each dish was delicious in its own way. Fresh, flavorful and consistently good. The waiter remembered my drink choice from day 3 and hosted us gracefully every time. This place is a huge part of my Groningen experience.

First visit, menu in Dutch, but I spotted two dishes marked vegan: hummus with mushrooms, and potatoes. Easy. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the server seemed overwhelmed. When the food came, it looked fine—until my first bite. Beef. In my vegan dish. Ten minutes later, when I finally flagged the server, his response was a casual “oh, sorry,” before removing the plate. That was it. The potatoes? Somehow tasted burnt without looking burnt. Serving meat in a vegan dish is unforgivable—ruining potatoes that badly is just adding insult to injury.
