Out of all the places that I’ve been to (maybe even ever) I’ve never felt so cared for as here. Being gluten free and dining out can sometimes be a hassle, but this place was outstanding in this regard. My food was covered and served with a lid, they have a menu separate and dedicated to just gluten free dishes. A banger truly. We had a pre theatre dinner here as it’s in the theatres proximity. A respectable and proper establishment, it’s a great spot for casual day lunching or night time fine dining. THIS PLACE IS PERFECT!!! They have a gluten free menu which is approximately 10 pages and i was really shocked. I had zuurvlees and it was really good. I wanted to try their desserts too but I was so full I couldn’t even finish the fries.

Food good quality. Service very friendly. The sateh was served with a very small portion of mayonaise ( did not ask for that ). They charged 1 euro for the mayonaise. This is a management policy which you see more and more in Maastricht … A bit “zielig” Next they will charge for the paper napkins 😂 I do recommend the place … dont get me wrong …

We were walking through Maastrich and decided to enter the place to have dinner. As it was the carnival season, city was full and all restaurantes were already complete. We did not have any reservations but were able to get a table for 2. We went for the “chef’s special”, since we did not know the traditional dutch food. Overall, very nice starters and beers. The main dish was good, but the meat was not as delicious than the carpaccio. Great atmosphere and great service!
