My girlfriends and I went here for a birthday lunch. The server was friendly and the food was good. The only thing I wish was different is that the portions were bigger. Considering how much you pay, you really don’t get a lot of food. For example, Soma’s rigatoni was basically 9 half-pieces of rigatoni stuffed with ragu. When I think of pasta, I expect bigger portions — not little hors d’oeuvres — but I guess this is a new French take on rigatoni. My favorite dish was the steak frites (entrecôte). Bruma is one of those rare places where everything comes together perfectly. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere intimate, and the execution spot-on. With only 33 seats, I’d strongly recommend reserving in advance — and it’s absolutely worth it. We shared quite a few dishes, and honestly, one was better than the next. Bruma is my favorite restaurant in Barcelona. The menu offers variety of seafood, vegetable, and meat options and the dish menu changes occasionally. The shrimp is a must, I liked the sauce they make. The service is amazing as well, they’re very attentive and friendly. It seemed like there were mostly locals.
