We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Lateral in Barcelona and it exceeded every expectation. From the first bite, everything was spot on. The croquettes , both the jamón and prawn were perfectly crisp on the outside and indulgently creamy inside. The Catalonian-style pan con tomate was simple yet flawless, the tortilla with truffle was rich and beautifully balanced, and the patatas bravas were among the best we’ve had, full of flavour. Top quality restaurant in the heart of Barcelona. I had the squid brioche, chicken quesadillas and lemon meringue. All three were excellent. They also have a good selection of wine by the glass. Very good value for money. Alex who served was very attentive & friendly . The ambience of the restaurant was very good and calming. Will go back to the restaurant again to try out the other dishes .
