After reading all the rave reviews about the grilled octopus I was looking forward for a quick lunch. Unfortunately I was unlucky to get a portion of a very chewy and boring grilled octopus. So four stars only - under the assumption that it's was a rare one time problem they happens in even the best restaurants. I am happy to give it another try the next time I am in Madrid.

The food and quality of the dishes here are top-notch, but the service leaves something to be desired... The waitress brought white wine instead of red, and light beer instead of a tostada, even though we ordered in Spanish and spoke clearly. The second time, we repeated our order several times, and miraculously, they brought us what we wanted.

Absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was sizable portions for the price compared to others we tried in the area. We had the first dish of octopus in the menu section of octopus dishes, the scallops in a buttery cream sauce. They also make a great Tinto de Verano.

More than a dozen influencers were all over this local joint that sold amazing octopus cuisine. Ordered a nice cold beer to go with, the staff were all very kind, even though I was seated at the bar, they gave me every second of attention, even had the patients and kindness to let me practice my shitty Spanish. All and all, an amazing tapas place that I would definitely visit again.
