Paul James Realista★★★★★I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cortijo de Pepe, and it was an experience that truly stood out. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, traditional Andalusian atmosphere that feels both authentic and inviting. The food is the real highlight. Every dish we tried was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The tapas were especially impressive—simple, classic recipes done exceptionally well. Whether you go for seafood, meat, or local specialties, everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned. The portions are generous, making it great value for money. The service was ano
Patricija Skof★★★★★This place was recommended to us by two friends, who are locals of Malaga - and for a reason - the food is great (especially meatballs and meat stuffed peppers) and has a great atmosphere! We were 6 people and had a great time. I recommend reserving a table in advance for a bigger group of people.
Kjartan Abel★★★We came here for a light seafood dinner, and on the plate, it delivered. The Gambas al Pil-Pil were excellent—hot, garlicky, and perfect for dipping the bread. The Grilled Baby Octopus was also a winner; tender and well-prepared without the heavy grease of fried alternatives. However, the experience was significantly dampened by the service. Our waitress seemed to have left her hospitality at home; she was remarkably unhappy and dismissive, making us feel more like an inconvenience than guests. It’s a shame, as the kitchen clearly knows what they are doing, but the "grumpy" vibe from the staf
Addie★★★Food was average, although portions were generous. Prices okay, however it really annoys me when they put bread in your face on arrival, even though you didn't ask for bread. It wasn't that expensive, but I find it so extremely disrespectful. Just ask if we want bread, no need to shove it in my face so desperately for another couple euros. Seating area upstairs was quite dark, not as in moody dark but as in 'I can't see the food properly' dark. I had the chicken, it does not say which part, so I assumed it would be breast. It was thigh, which I absolutely hate and it was also extremely salty.
