As a solo diner, ive noticed sometimes restaurants would rather hold the table for a couple. I ordered the chicken Milanese, which was very greasy and served with a salad that didn’t taste fresh at all. The potatoes were burnt and also greasy—I couldn’t eat them. When I raised this with the waitress, she simply said she would pass the message to the chef, but no one came back to check on us or offer any solution. It felt like no one really cared.
