After a brisk walk down the canal with the partner and dog it’s always nice to pop into The Boat for a refreshing pint, a Prosecco and one or two of their super amazing cobs. Always very friendly, accommodating, very good atmosphere with a lovely local rustic touch. Definitely recommend a visit.

It's a great little place on the canal at the edge of Birmingham, with lots of picnic tables to sit outside and relax. There are often boaters mooring up and coming in for a break and you will sometimes see people paddling a long boat or in kayaks - which adds to the fun vibe. It's a dog friendly pub, as long as your furry friend is on a lead and well behaved - which they always are. You can take a short walk around the block, along the canal, or carry on towards Curdworth and join the "yellow brick road" if you want a longer route.
