Samuel Tripp★★★A distinctly average modern coffee shop. Came here because of the raving reviews online. Coffee was average, I had avocado Benedict which tasted great and was flavoured well (eggs not runny though). Decent coffee shop, as you would expect, but nothing remarkable. A shame it was fully cashless, so don’t visit if this bothers you. American style tip requests with the square payment terminal. If you offered cash payment, you might get more tips in a jar from change, but a 15-20% suggestion on card payment is a little steep and makes me roll my eyes into my head. Lots of tables (didn't count them). I had a breakfast, it was lovely, especially the sausages, the portion was just right, enough but not too much! The missus had a children's portion of pancakes, she said they were nice and plenty. Our waitress, Lola, made every effort to make our experience fantastic, meeting my every expectation. She was attentive, kind and just so lovely. I highly recommend the food, the staff and atmosphere to all reading this review (and all my friends!!) Thank you to Lola, especially, for her friendliness and attention to making our experience a wonderful one!
