A distinctly average modern coffee shop. Came here because of the raving reviews online. Coffee was average, I had avocado Benedict which tasted great and was flavoured well (eggs not runny though). Decent coffee shop, as you would expect, but nothing remarkable. A shame it was fully cashless, so don’t visit if this bothers you. American style tip requests with the square payment terminal. If you offered cash payment, you might get more tips in a jar from change, but a 15-20% suggestion on card payment is a little steep and makes me roll my eyes into my head. Brilliant place, food is excellent, service good, friendly effiecient staff, good atmosphere, dogs allowed (if well behaved) some soft settees, mostly proper dining chairs. Lots of tables (didn't count them). I had a breakfast, it was lovely, especially the sausages, the portion was just right, enough but not too much! The missus had a children's portion of pancakes, she said they were nice and plenty. The atmosphere on a Saturday morning when I visited a week ago was so relaxing and inviting. The smoked salmon with poached egg was simply divine. Our waitress, Lola, made every effort to make our experience fantastic, meeting my every expectation. She was attentive, kind and just so lovely. I highly recommend the food, the staff and atmosphere to all reading this review (and all my friends!!)
