There’s a secret in Leicester. Tucked away on the back streets of the city centre — New Bond Street, to be precise — is James Cafe Bistro, a place I keep coming back to for one simple reason: they get everything right. Amazing food! My wife had gluten free pancakes, i had eggs benedict with lots of extras and the children had full English breakfasts, all great! My wife also had a chai latte made from spices, not the already made up stuff and said it's way better than the ones she usually drinks. The atmosphere is quirky with all the paintings you can buy and the girl who served us was really nice.

This is such a cute cosy spot outside of the shopping centre. It has such a cool retro vibe, and such a peaceful environment. I didn’t get any food but I got a Raspberry margarita, which was very refreshing and strong, way better than the drinks I get at bars/ pubs because I can ACTUALLY taste the alcohol lol 😂. The waitress was very polite and nice. You can sit inside and they also have an outside place for any smokers or for more warmer days. Definitely would recommend 😁

Great find, met up with an old pal,superb menu. Definitely something for everyone. Lovely fresh food,piping hot and very tasty. Attentive staff.Reasonably priced. So much going on at this venue....had a chat with James, proper nice bloke. Recommended if your in town,nip in and show your support, you won't be disappointed.
