We love coming to Perry Hill pub! The food is outstanding & the vibes are immaculate. Whether for a quick pint after work or a Sunday roast with the family you just can’t go wrong. Cosy inside in the winter and the STUNNING garden in the spring and summer make it well worth the visit! Very family friendly so there does tend to be lots of kids on a Sunday.

Typically, the worst moment to ask for food is mid-afternoon (16:30); well, not at the Perry Hill Pub! I was warmly greeted by the manageress on duty, who issued me with a menu and a cold drink. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining in a well-designed garden, with the smoking area well-isolated from the rest and enough space for friendly conversation, work, or reading. The food was the highlight: the menu is so varied that I seriously had trouble choosing, with staples such as bavette steak and creative plant-based options. Had a brilliant visit to Perry Hill in Sydenham The steak pie was excellent, proper comfort food done right, and the burger was just as good. Really appreciated that they serve real, decent food for kids rather than the usual shortcuts. The garden is a standout too, perfect for relaxing and easily one of the best spots around if you’ve got a dog with you. Definitely a great all-round hangout.
