Visited Caffè Nero in Wakefield City Centre and had a lovely experience. This branch has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and is a perfect spot to unwind in the middle of the city. The cream bun was absolutely delicious — soft, fresh, and generously filled, making it the perfect sweet treat with coffee. We weren’t greeted with a hello, member of staff was leaning on the coffee machine at the back. Ordered a flat white in a takeaway cup. The coffee, or should I say lack of tasted like lukewarm milk and wasn’t even in a branded takeaway cup. The hazelnut latte was sweet enough to rot my teeth, good job I have a private dentist. No menu above the counter so hard to choose what you want as no idea what there is on offer. No menus on tables either! This is coming from a trained barista of over 10 years!!!
