The fish was freshly cooked and was fine and so were the mushy peas but the chips were barely warm and tasted like they had been cooked yesterday. And I couldn’t taste any vinegar or salt either. Disappointing really as I had heard that everything was cooked fresh to order. But I guess it was a slow day and they decided to take a risk with their reviews. Shame.
Andreea★Reaaaaally tragic that this is the highest rated chippy in Whitstable. I think these guys write their own reviews. We’ve tried 3-4 different places on our trip, this was absolutely the worst. The fish and chips were probably the worst I’ve had in my life. More of a fish schnitzel than an authentic chippy.
