I am NOT one to complain at ALL. but I’m just disappointed, we had spent 12 hours at a festival and left craving Steak ‘n Shake. We ordered two meals with LARGE fries and a meal with regular and this is what we got. At that point it’s not worth paying extra for the large. Just double check your orders I guess

Just steak n shake has always been bad with time as far as making food but that can be attributed to the fact that Altamonte is a busy area, and there are few places open late. However over the last couple of days add a completely unreasonable unprofessional series of experiences with the store, specifically the owner Robb. Saturday night I came in pretty late and waited roughly an hour to get food from this location. Place was clean, my order arrived quickly. The hamburger was quite tasty 8/10. I also really liked the chili cheese fries 8/10. Onion rings could have been better 7/10.

Although the food from Steak ’n Shake tasted good, part of my order was missing. I tried calling the store to resolve it, but no one answered. Order accuracy is extremely important—while I take some responsibility for not double-checking before leaving, it ultimately falls on the restaurant to get it right. Taking a moment to double or even triple check orders would make a big difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t return.
