Very nice menu, good food, very nice staff, but dinner was spoiled by a very rude owner. We went to International Delight Cafe (IDC) in Bellmore on Friday, May 22, 2026 around 4:30 PM to celebrate my 92-year-old mother's birthday.  My mother has Dementia, and she has a hard time remembering things, so she read the menu numerous times trying to decide what to order.  There were some changes to the menu since the last time we were there, so it took a bit longer for her to make a decision. Came here for Mother’s Day and the food was delicious. The service was way too slow though. They were packed but really understaffed. A nice server came and introduced herself and I sat with coffee for a good 45 mins until someone brought our food over. Several other tables were waiting for the same time as well, maybe more. The server however was very nice. Everything is cooked fresh here and I enjoyed tasting everything because I was full by the time I took the first few bites. I recommend hiring more staff especially on busy holidays.
