TLDR: I nearly swallowed a metal piece of brillo pad that they served me in their food; poor customer service. I have been ordering from Hibachi Express for years, over a decade. I have enjoyed ordering their food up until today. On Sunday, I ordered the filet and shrimp entree, I had only eaten half of it and saved the other half for my lunch hour on Monday. While I was eating the other half on my lunch break on Monday, I nearly swallowed something hard. We were looking for a new local/take out spot in the area & decided to check out this place and glad we did. I definitely recommend their hibachi chicken and shrimp. The up charge for half rice and noodles was well worth it. Overall, their food was seasoned well and it was a lot of food for little to nothing. Can’t wait to try them again!

It’s a five star review with only four stars for food service and atmosphere because it’s about a 4 1/2 star five stars to me. It has to be really off the chart incredible. However, hibachi express did not disappoint. Not only did I walk in and order I was attended to immediately, and my walk-in order was done shockingly fast during their busy dinner hour. I would highly recommend eating here for express sushi and I saw the hibachi looks really good too.

My husband and I were craving this type of food. We ordered the Steak and chicken combo $13.59, Godzilla roll $12.99 and "sushi regular" $10.99. The miso soup was perfect for this chilly night. However the steak & chicken combo was bland and flavorless with too much rice. The Godzilla roll was just okay, the sushi regular didn't seem fresh especially the shrimp was extremely dry. To our surprise there was a free dessert in the bag (deep fried oreos with dipping sauce) that was a nice gesture!!! The food did the job, but nothing to brag about.
