Walter Macalma★★★★Schlotzsky's left San Diego in 2005 and California in 2018, so when I saw this here, AND a combination with Cinnabon I was tickled. While I wasn't in town for this, I knew I had to add it to my food tour. I initially came here at 10am becuase that's what their website and the doors said, but they didn't open until 11 multiple days in a row, which was disappointing. I went nearby to get a coffee and when I came back they were very busy, so I guess everyone knew the correct hours except me. The 2nd time...I figured it was their way of doing shady business. I stopped by looking for the manager, and was told by an employee the manager wasn't onsite. I was also informed I'm not the only person who has complained about double charging. Something about they were having issues with their card reader. I honestly think the people who own this location could be using a card machine that collects customer account info. This

She came to the register and said that the lobby closes at 8:00 and asked if we wanted to order food to go. The hours labeled on the door said they closed at 9:00. The entire restaurant had tables at booths turned over so people couldn’t sit at them. We sat at the only table that wasn’t turned over and waited for our food.
