The place still has that same down home, nostalgic vibe that makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. My grandparents used to LOVE the catfish here, but I’ve never been a catfish person. Even as a kid, I always ordered the same thing, chicken tenders, a baked potato, and a roll....and that’s exactly what I got today. And let me tell you, it tasted just as good as I remember. I ordered a fish sandwich since I didn't want to pay $17 for one filet and fries and so glad I didn't. I wanted to order onion rings and after asking if they were homemade or frozen was told that everything they serve is frozen but the fish. I did end up ordering hushpuppies and was disappointed in those too. No onion or any other spices were used and I was left with the unpleasant taste of the grease it was fried in. As far as atmosph
