Tori Jiro is a Japanese restaurant located within Arsenal Yards, featuring Japanese skewers and other Japanese dishes in a nice modern atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, they seated us quite quickly and our food was served quickly. The food was good as well. The skewers and yakitori were roasted evenly, ensuring no part was raw. We also tried a few of the side dishes, which had good taste and went well with the other dishes. However, the food here is quite expensive, especially for the portion size. This is for the private tuna cutting event 5/20/26. Too expensive for the experience. It was a $500+ dollar dinner and we weren’t told anything about what we were eating. Just a quick point and “this is such and such” then the waiter was gone. The saving grace was the food was delicious but for that money I want to be told what I’m eating and some sort of instruction. Gloves were given at one point and we weren’t told why we were getting the gloves.
