“Good food, very nice staff”

I only go to McDonald's because I have a granddaughter who lives on French fries. I used to think that had good fries when I used to go there many years ago but they sure have declined. They were droopy instead of being crispy. They didn't have enough salt and were somewhat tasteless. I did order a burger that I could customize and that was passable. Prices, of course, are much higher than they used to be. We just did drive-thru so no judging on atmosphere.

Update March 9th 2026: Best McDonald’s ever. We’re regulars in the drive-thru with two kids in the back seat negotiating like tiny lawyers over nuggets, and the mcdouble sauces while I’m just too tired to cook! Tonight my kid asked for basically every sauce as a “taste test,” and the staff was totally happy to help and answer questions about the whole menu. It honestly reminded me of the good old days years ago when customer service like that was normal, and I was really grateful because dinner was saved, and even w/a bunch of other burger places right next door, this is the only place we’ll

I went through the drive-thru and was asked to park to wait, I had to wait 20 minutes and watched many cars behind me in drive-thru get their food and drive off. I walked in to see what is the delay as I only ordered 1 chicken sandwich. The woman behind the counter was very friendly & helpful and was able to help me get my food and gave me a complimentary pie. She made the experience a positive one.
