I went here with very high expectations. This place was recommended to me on at least five different occasions for chicken fried rice and their rice noodle combo plate. I have said since I moved to Kansas City that there’s no good oriental food in the city. I mean, I feel like to get really good. I have to drive all the way to St. Louis or Springfield. I was very disappointed in the rice and the noodles. The noodles were very dry and there wasn’t hardly any chicken in them or anything else. The rice and noodles and noodles were dry. So, I think the food here is pretty decent. My wife for some reason does not like this food. I guess the sauce for the Broccoli Chicken is unusual. The prices when ordering in person are noticeably less expensive than when ordering online, including the store's on website. They are fast when ordering at the drive thru. The inside is pretty dated and rough decor, but not gross or anything, just definitely not the focus of the business. I eat here when the wife is out of town, they are close, cheap, and fast. And pretty good. Can't ask for much more!

Missed out on lunch so we decided to stop in. It's been a while and definitely noticed a change. I didn't read the reviews and unfortunately they definitely were accurate. I think anything fried seemed to be swimming in oil/moisture. Major bummer but overall edible. I'd give it a try again. Not having chili or being able to increase spiciness was another negative. It was pretty mild in flavors overall.

Got the happy family. Food was way over cooked where the “shrimp” was rubbery, the “crab” was literally like trying to eat a piece of tire. And steamed dumplings weren’t a noodle consistency more like dough. Overall worst I have ever had.
