Classic drive through with some of the best tasting burgers in the KC metro area. If you've never been to HiBoy you're missing out. I recommend their Jr. Cheeseburger with a side of fries. Never had a bad meal here and I've been coming since I was in preschool with my dad. Also cant go wrong with their chocolate shake or the fish sandwich. Please keep in mind this is a drive in. There are places to sit, but not many. So be prepared to eat in your car if there aren't spaces inside.

Edit: the large woman with the dragon tattoos on her arms is very rude and because of her alone i will not be returning to this location. And why y'all put my sandwich in there sideways... weird. Food is consistent as is service. Big thing is always clean. No trash no dirty tables no smell. And they let me bring my bike inside without giving me a fuss so that's nice

HiBoy is a classic old school burger joint. If I was lucky as a kid, we would stop here for lunch. They sponsor little league teams and have a bunch of trophies on display in the lobby. The HiBoy burger is a lot like a whopper. Their onion rings are good and plentiful. My soda was strong on the soda and weak on the syrup, which usually is a transient issue. The food is enjoyable, but it is overpriced. Getting lunch here is a small trip down memory lane for me. I’ll grab a burger here once a year or so when I get back to the town of my birth and enjoy it even though I know that I’m paying too m

We stopped by for an early lunch. There was only one other couple eating at the time. The food was good. What you would expect for this type of restaurant. What we really liked was how clean everything was. Not just the tables but the window sills, the floor and even the corners of the floor. I don’t know if it’s always this way but after a week of traveling and experiencing sticky tables and floors at multiple stops this was a nice change.
