An impressive pandemic-era parklet execution, but a return visit is required for the true experience. I visited Lazy Bear in March of 2021 during their outdoor parklet chapter. While the safety protocols meant missing out on the energy of their true communal indoor dining room, the team did a remarkable job transitioning an elevated, high-end experience to a temporary sidewalk setup. I must note that as someone who doesn't care for duck, this turned out to be a highly challenging menu for my personal palate, as duck heavily anchored the meal. However, looking past my subjective protein prefe

Overall the dinner was enjoyable. I loved the concept, but the food turned out not as spectacular as the servers sang praise to. + Good creativity and range in the menu. High quality ingredients. Highlights were the trout, butter, chicken, and mandarin financier - Personally I need a bit more balance. Some of the dishes were overly salted to my taste, with the fondue dishes being too salty to finish (and I was salty about this because it smelled incredible and had morels my absolute favorite). The wagyu ribeye was beautifully marbled and quite high in fat content already. So I didn’t understan

What a fabulous experience! Loved the booklets- they give out before the dining experience begins so you can take notes, look ahead etc. I opted to let each dish be a surprise (highly recommend). Each course had a story which made the bite even more enjoyable. Everything cooked to perfection and they were able to accommodate my dietary restriction. The atmosphere inside is cozy and warm. Highly recommend. They are very deserving of their 2 Michelin stars!

A fine dining that won’t leave you hungry. Very reasonable price for what you get. We got three mains which are lobster, Duck Breast and Wagyu. You don’t typically get all three without an add on. The wine pairing was also great. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food was delicious but may not have an unexpected twist.
