⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Portillo’s in Elmhurst is one of the best spots around for classic Chicago-style food. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the line moved surprisingly fast even during a busy time. The Italian beef was packed with flavor, the fries were fresh and hot, and the portions were generous. You can tell they do a great job keeping quality consistent. I ordered catering for a family party. Not only was it a good value for the quantity and quality , the entire process was so seamless, from the excellent online ordering system, the friendly folks in the dedicated pick-up area, and the helpful drive thru gentleman that helped me safely get my order to my car. A+ all around!

First visit to this location and it's the coolest Portillo's ever! Revolving door entrance is like a juke box selection board and the canopy above that is like a record player. Awesomely decorated inside too with a ton of vintage items and signs on display. Table tops have the 1960's boomerang design in them. Music was a little too loud, but otherwise a great experience. Will stop there again next time we're down that way. Oh yeah. The food was Portillo's GREAT too.

Hey Portillo’s Elmhurst… WHERE’S THE BEEF?!? We decided to go in for a quick meal, but we were hesitant because we’ve had mixed experiences here. The first thing we saw when walking in was nothing but dirty tables covered in crumbs, drink stains, and paper bags stuffed in the booths. You can also tell that the location has seen better days because the only upgrade it has gotten was lights. Everything else is falling apart or sun-damaged.
