Overall, i'd say 4.5 stars. The burger and service were excellent. The fries were kind of blah but the burger was one of the best i'd had. The staff was very friendly too. Prices seem high but that's probably because I just don't get out much. It's worth a 20 minute drive from Goldsboro.

We purchased a chocolate nut sundae. It was very good but $7.00 for a very small cup. Service was great main thing was pricing for a small cup.

On 06/29/26 at 12:00 PM, TAB #7, ORDER: 2015, Sent from station #3 _ Walk UP L, Reference STAN Call in, we ordered 2 Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato with Mayonnaise Sandwiches Toasted. He had to repeat the order to the order taker three times. The sandwiches he picked up had no Mayo, with a small piece of tomato, and were not toasted. Previous orders were not prepared as ordered. We continue to order these sandwiches because the bacon is cooked perfectly and we can add Mayo and tomato to the sandwiches, although we can't toast the sandwiches.

It's bad when the service is better than the food. The young lady was very patient and answered all of my questions. This use to be a go to spot for me. Today very disappointed my hot dog wasn't hot and the chilli isn't the same quality. Taste almost like the old texas Pete. Don't let me talk about the hamburger pattie. It was extremely hard and I could tell that they've cut back. Very salty pickle chips also my burger was cold. I drive all the way from Rocky mount.
