My family and I have dined here way too many times to count and we’ve always enjoyed the food. The quality and flavours are a big part of why we continue to return. Hands down the best authentic Thai food in Adelaide. The kitchen and other staff deserve credit for the effort they put into making the experience worth every dollar spent. However, on our last visit, we booked a table to celebrate a birthday, and a staff member acted highly unprofessionally by allowing her own personal matters interfere with the customer experience. What should’ve been a private birthday celebration was affected

Came here during the weekend for a family birthday celebration/anniversary and the vibes, food and service were amazing! For the starters fan favourite were definitely the kingfish sushi and the oysters in their NamJin sauce which definitely has a kick to it but worked so well with the seafood - if anything, I would definitely recommend those to try out! Lantern might be the quiet hero of Adelaide - the food is so fresh the flavours jump off the plate. It's clear they take advantage of the local connection, with the Central Markets a few hundred metres away. The oysters are a flavour explosion. The salt and pepper is delicate, the curries are too. Tam's service was wonderful and attentive, she knows when to recommend a cocktail - and shout out to Andy the cocktail staff - man has never made a bad cocktail in his life. Highly recommend, deserves a visit or several.
