A lovely Italian restaurant in Bendigo that was a really nice surprise. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, with simple but charming details that make it feel relaxed and welcoming. We ordered a classic bolognese, Tuscan roast chicken, and tiramisu. Everything tasted authentic and well-balanced, with a very traditional Italian feel. Nothing overly fancy, just solid, comforting dishes done right. The restaurant was quite busy when we visited, which says a lot about its popularity with locals. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience—definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bendigo.

We had a great experience at Borchelli Ristorante in Bendigo. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We ordered the bruschetta, herbed crepes, fettuccine al pollo e funghi and gnocchi quattro formaggi, every dish was beautifully cooked and came out quickly despite the restaurant being very busy. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We also enjoyed a couple of beers and the “Pretty Lady” cocktails, which were a hit! The only table available was on the footpath, which we didn’t mind at all, though the tables outside

The decor here has a charming classic European style, with tapestries on the seats and classic red checkered tablecloths adding a warm and cozy feel. The service is also good. The restaurant specializes in risottos and pastas. My top recommendation is the Risotto Nero, the combination of seafood and fragrant squid ink is absolutely fantastic

Definitely book ahead! We turned up on a Tuesday and were one of two tables upstairs that weren’t reserved. Balcony and street dining also available. Beautiful decor. Delicious food. Lovely accomodating staff 🌟🌟
