My visit to Sultan’s was a late night foray for chai. While ordering chai we also ordered freshly made parathas accompanied by achar. The combination was a winner. Karak chai, hot parathas, and achar was just the panacea for a cold Melbourne night. While we didn’t order anything else, Incan definitely vouch for the chai and parathas here.

I recently had a terrible experience ordering from this restaurant. I ordered four naan and two tandoori rotis, but there was absolutely no difference between them—they both tasted the same, and both were stale and dry, like they had been sitting around for hours. The dal makhani was another disaster. It was not even close to real dal makhani; instead, it was drowned in oil, so much so that it felt like I was eating oil with a hint of dal.
