I had a very disappointing experience here. First of all, the service was unacceptable. My family and I stood there for a full 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Several staff members saw us but completely ignored us. It felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Secondly, the food was terrible. The fries were overcooked to the point of being burnt, and they tasted like they had been refried rather than freshly made. As for the chicken parmigiana, it was honestly the worst I have ever had in my life — dry, tough, and clearly sitting in the oven for far too long. It was so unpleasan

The Eureka Hotel is absolutely hitting the mark for a modern pub experience in Geelong. It manages to feel classic and fresh at the same time, with a super clean and welcoming bar area. What stood out most was the food. We ordered the mexican parma and it was fantastic! There were a few parmas to choose from. It was beautifully presented, generously topped with fresh ingredients like avocado and sour cream, and came with perfectly crispy fries and a fresh side salad. Great food; I had the fried chicken burger and it was super crunchy and soft on the inside. Side of chips was great. Others had the Parma and said it was good with a fresh salad. Only suggestion is the venue was super cold because the doors were open to other spaces 🥶
