This building has been here in Calgary for decades and has served as a pub for many years. It seems like the Elephant and Castle are continuing to be a good pub to exist here. Service was pretty solid, good pub food and it appears to be a good spot to watch sports. I think we sat in the noisiest corner that everyone is drawn to as it looks out as the rest of the pub. Noise (especially of louder tables) REALLY carries, but let's face it, a pub isn't where you're going to go if you're looking for a quiet ambience. I've really enjoyed Elephant & Castle on my two visits. This last time we went for the English Breakfast options, as well as the Scotch Egg. Really delicious. The bacon was overcooked, but all the other elements worked really well. Best Scotch Egg I've had in Calgary so far.

Went today with my wife and mother in law for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food, service and beer were all excellent. The food was the best we have had in Calgary in a pub. Sausage rolls were excellent and the bread pudding was like my mom used to make. Thank you for an awesome meal. We will be back. Our server was Jordan-Anne. She was fantastic! Brought extra napkins, asked if we wanted ranch with our wings. We went back on the Saturday and had wings, sausage rolls and bread pudding. Food again was excellent. Service was ok. But Jordan-Anne saw us and remembered us from 4 days
