We were visiting from the UK and had fantastic experiences at the Elephant & Castle pub which adjoined our hotel, The Club Quarters. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had a great English pub feel (especially when watching the Champions league final) . The food we had was very good, especially the 4 mini pies. What really made the visit stand out for us was the outstanding service from Aisling. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. Awesome spot! The fish and chips was fantastic (there's no shellfish in the restaurant, so it was also safe to eat if you have a shellfish allergy). The Sunday roast was also delicious, and the horseradish aoli delightful. Aisling was our waitress, and she was fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back.

We went there for lunch during the week. The ambiance was good. The service was great. The food was excellent. We sat at a table, not the bar. I got the Shepherd's Pie, and it was amazing. My brother got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was good. I would recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.
