I was on the hunt for a sliver of nostalgia, searching for a warm inviting community space to enjoy a quiet book, light conversation and a warm cozy drink, I found all of this at Bean Around Books and Tea. I love the ambiance, the vibes and their active role with the youth in our community. I talk this place up as often as I can. When (not if) Starbucks and Timmies start making you feel like a nameless cog in the machine, get over to Bean Around Books and Tea, read a book, drink a drink, maybe play a song at the open mic, and smile knowing you're supporting a real and good thing.

I visited once or twice in the past but when I had to stay there for hours to study, it was honestly the greatest. The easiest way to lock in is a cozy café with a good drink; they provided just that. Their service is wonderful and quick and they have a great variety of tea. Their walls are covered in books if you want to do some reading and it's spacious in the back if you need to do some studying. Great place, I come back for the London Fogs 🤤.

First time going to Bean Around Books and Tea, I was drawn in by the wonderful coffee aroma when I walked by. The latte Darcy made was good and the atmosphere chatting with other patrons was awesome. The sitting area is small but comfortable and if you like books they have a good sized used book store at the back.
