I’m going to assume this was just a bad night for Portage Orchard, based on such a high review score overall… however our experience was disappointing. Our waiter was friendly and courteous - however he was the only waiter on a Saturday night at 6pm. Was not greeted at table for over 5 minutes - clearly they were understaffed this evening and this is managements fault, not the wait or cooking staff. Atmosphere: good, nice location. Beer selection good - a few local craft brews on tap. After ordering, we waited almost 45 minutes before seeing the first plate (after asking and flagging down

The service here is top notch, friendly and helpful! The food was also amazing - I can especially recommend the braised beef and Wagyu dumplings! Having the front open to the lovely afternoon was such a great atmosphere, but the patio also looked very nice. I will definitely be back!
