I hate to this one.. I was going to give this three stars because honestly we thought the food and customer service was average. It looked decent, tasted average but nothing terrible (at the time) but again, just average. Something about the food turnt out stomach... Just cautioning others thinking of trying... It could have just been an off day but I don't know if I'd risk it...

We unfortunately got a really moldly lime in the Canadian sangria (which my husband only realized once finishing the drink). When we let our server know and she comped the drink, but it left a bad impression for the rest of the meal. It also left us concerned and worried about getting sick afterwards and in general, the food safety / quality at this location. Hopefully it is a one-off experience! We've had the vegetable pot pie twice here now and have loved it each time (though it looked different each time), so we recommend trying it out! Their hot chocolate is really good too!

We haven't been to Swiss Chalet in years, but bro wanted to go for the roast beef, which is a temporary special. They don't normally serve beef. He and hubby both enjoyed it very much. I had a hot chicken sandwich, and sis-in-law had a hot beef sandwich. Both came with 2 sides - I chose fries and Caesar salad - and wow, there was enough food there to keep me going for the next 2 days! I was expecting the salad to be the size of a side salad, however it looked more like a main dish size. I shared it with hubby. All the food got top marks from all of us. We ordered dessert, which we don't usual

The food was great the service was slow with us being one out of 2 tables there for lunch. Proceed with caution as the floors are absolutely slick we couldn’t walk normally without almost falling. It’s extremely concerning as a lot of elderly attend this location. From the door to the table and also in the washrooms was extremely slippery.
