The "hidden corner restaurant"! Wouldn't have found it spontaneously, but it was not too hard to come around it. Small restaurant with reservations required and a not too long, regularly updated menu. They are knowledgeable in wine pairing to it though, and there is a comfortably long list of wines offered. Also, we pretty much tried all the dishes they served, was absolutely worth it. One of our most exquisite culinary experiences on our trip.

Dinner here was one of the best meals we had in France during our recent two week trip. We enjoyed the razor clams in wine and garlic, a delicious fried polenta with black garlic sauce (incredible flavor!!), veal tonnato, sea bream, and an exquisite cloud-like pavlova with strawberries and lemon curd for dessert. The kind young woman who served us was one half of the couple who own the restaurant; she told us they met in Bari, Italy and moved to Avignon (where he has family) three years ago.
